Terms of Use
These Terms govern the download, trial, purchase, activation, and use of TactiPlay. By using the application, you agree to these Terms.
1. Product
TactiPlay is a macOS application for hockey video analysis and telestration.
2. License
Subject to payment and compliance with these Terms, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use TactiPlay. Unless a plan states otherwise, a paid subscription allows activation on up to two Macs used by the license holder.
3. Restrictions
- Do not share, sell, sublicense, or publish your license key.
- Do not circumvent activation, trial, subscription, or device limits.
- Do not reverse engineer the software except where applicable law expressly permits it.
- Do not use TactiPlay in violation of intellectual-property, privacy, or other applicable laws.
4. Subscriptions and billing
Paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe and are billed in advance for the selected billing period. Subscriptions renew automatically at the same interval until cancelled. The final price, applicable taxes, and currency are shown during checkout.
Stripe and its related payment providers may process payment and billing information for payment processing, subscription management, tax handling, and fraud prevention in accordance with their own terms and privacy policies.
5. Free trial
Where offered, TactiPlay provides a seven-day trial inside the application without requiring payment details. The trial begins when trial access is activated in the app. Trial access may be limited to one trial per installation or device and may be denied, limited, or revoked in cases of abuse or attempts to bypass technical restrictions.
6. Cancellation and subscription end
You may cancel your subscription through the Stripe subscription-management link provided to you. Unless stated otherwise at the time of cancellation, access continues until the end of the already-paid billing period and the subscription will not renew afterward.
If a renewal payment fails, access may remain available for a short grace period. After that period, the license may be suspended until payment succeeds.
7. Refunds
Refund requests are handled in accordance with applicable law, the terms shown at purchase, and the applicable payment-provider rules. A full refund, payment reversal, or confirmed chargeback may result in revocation or termination of the associated license.
8. Updates and compatibility
Updates may be provided while your subscription is active. We do not guarantee compatibility with every video format, hardware configuration, third-party application, or future version of macOS.
9. Your content
You are responsible for the videos and other materials you use with TactiPlay and confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions to use them.
10. Availability
We aim to keep TactiPlay and its licensing, subscription, and trial services available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
11. Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TactiPlay is provided “as is” and “as available” without additional warranties except where such warranties cannot legally be excluded.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, loss of data, loss of revenue, or interruption of business. Total liability for claims relating to TactiPlay will not exceed the amount paid for TactiPlay during the preceding twelve months, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
13. Suspension or termination
We may suspend or terminate trial access or a license where we reasonably believe there has been fraud, abuse, a payment reversal or dispute, a security risk, an attempt to circumvent technical restrictions, or a material violation of these Terms.
14. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated when TactiPlay, its payment arrangements, licensing system, or supporting infrastructure changes. The date at the top of this page indicates the latest revision.
